Information Desk

James C. Kirkpatrick Library is open to the UCM community and the public. The Information Desk is located on the first floor and is open during all hours of library operation to serve our patrons.  

This desk handles these services:

  • Research assistance for students, faculty, staff and the general public
  • Checkout, renew and return library items
  • Pick up and drop off of items on hold
  • Interlibrary Loan materials
  • Checkout and return Dell and/or Chromebook laptops
  • Rent lockers
  • Assistance with lost material fee information
  • Lost and found items

Accessing "My Library Account"

Every UCM student, faculty member and staff person has an account with JCKL.  You can access the "My Library Account" to:

  • See a list of the items you have checked out
  • Renew your holdings to extend the due date
  • Monitor your requests for JCKL materials or items coming from other libraries
  • Create a reading history
