Steps in a Systematic Review

The following tabs describe each step in a systematic review in more detail, as well as provide resources and guidance.

Librarians can be involved in the systematic review process, however the disciplinary experts on the systematic review team should manage certain steps that require subject expertise. It is recommended that the librarians who write the search methodology section are included as a co-authors. Librarians who collaborate and guide on search strategy and citation management should be acknowledged in the final publication.
