Nursing Rooms on Campus
Library Wellness Room
Located in the first floor of JCKL. Key must be retrieved at Information Desk. First come, first served. Includes a comfortable chair, foot stool, and sink.
Library Family Study Room
Located in the second floor of JCKL. Reservable for up to 4 hours per day. Includes rocking chair, baby swing, and optional privacy screen for window. Key must be retrieved at Information Desk.
Elliot Union Mother's Room
Located in the Smiser Alumni Center women's restroom. Ask at the front desk for the code.
Food and personal care items are provided.
Any UCM faculty, staff member or student who presents a valid UCM ID may select 10 items per week from Campus Cupboard. For emergency situations, after business hours, contact 660-543-4381. Campus Cupboard is located in the lower level of the UCM Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Take a left at the locker rooms and another left at the end of the hall to the first door on the left.
SEE will work in conjunction with the Title IX Coordinator. Title IX covers any gender-related issues, including pregnancy, birth, and postpartum needs.
Child care referrals, subsidy payment assistance, child development resources, and more.
The Food Center
Located at 137 East Culton St in Warrensburg. Provides supplemental food for low-income households in Johnson County, MO. Call ahead to confirm hours: 660-747-6188.
Parents as Teachers is an early childhood education program that provides home visits to share strategies and activities for parents of children up to kindergarten entry.
