From the library homepage select Browse Databases. Choose Medline (EBSCOhost or ProQuest). If you are accessing the database remotely you will be prompted to login with your UCM username and password. Limit your results to Randomized Controlled Trial.

Finding RCTs in PubMed

PubMed is a free search engine accessing the Medline database. PubMed applies the Randomized Controlled Trial filter automatically. Double check that it is applied when searching and always review the individual article to ensure that it is a Randomized Controlled Trial.
