IEEE Xplore

Access our IEEE Xplore digital platform to access scientific and technical content published by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

The library now has expanded access to IEEE Xplore through their Articles on Demand service. The expanded access functions similar to ScienceDirect and Wiley’s token access, except IEEE Xplore calls its access structure for downloaded content a "File Cabinet." IEEE Xplore can be accessed through the JCKL A-Z databases listing.

1. Example of an article available for download via the article on demand subscription or File Cabinet Subscription.

2. When you locate a desired article, you will be prompted to confirm the title selection by clicking the continue button.

3. One nice feature of the IEEE structure is that all users can access the File Cabinet at the top of the navigation page to see if the content they are interested in has already been selected and is available to download.

4. File cabinet content image.

5. If another user selects the same article that has already been downloaded, an additional download/token will not be used. Instead, the selected article will open directly for that user.

Please note that we have limited downloads/tokens for IEEE Articles on Demand. We will monitor the usage of the database throughout the year and make adjustments as necessary.
