Special Collections


The Special Collections housed in the James C. Kirkpatrick Library consist of two main sub-collections:

  • General Special Collections (GSC), including any unique materials not primarily related to children’s literature, and the
  • Philip A. Sadler Research Collection of Literature for Children & Young Adults (RC).

The Office of James C. Kirkpatrick and the Kirkpatrick materials are also under the purview of Special Collections, and are considered part of GSC.

Access to Special Collections
