Library Workshops on OER

Introduction to Creative Commons and OER

Introductory session presented in a hybrid format. Additional sessions and consultations available for department training, in-depth practice, or other group meetings upon request. 

Details: Have you heard of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Creative Commons (CC) licenses and aren’t sure how to get started? Join Librarian Sara Evans for an introduction to how to easily understand CC licenses and their application when remixing or re-using OER content. This workshop will feature hands-on examples of the OER creation process, finding the right CC license, and ideas for incorporating OER into your course or assignments. Ideal for faculty and graduate students interested in OER.  

Participants should bring a laptop to participate in activities.
