Faculty Research Room

The James C. Kirkpatrick Library offers a Faculty Research Room for full-time UCM faculty and staff, providing a quiet space to support ongoing research and professional development using library resources.

This shared space is available on a semester-by-semester basis with the option to renew. Because space is limited, applications will be reviewed in the order received.

Eligibility & Use Criteria

The Faculty Research Room may be requested for:

Ongoing research involving library resources
Institutionally supported professional enhancement
Academic leave projects
Based on availability of space

Space & Amenities

Workspace and chair provided
Bring your own device (no library computers provided)
Shared room environment

Download e-books, audio books, and videos. OverDrive contains digital content purchased by the JCK Library. An Adobe account is needed to download content. Content can be downloaded to any device with the OverDrive app. Kindle editions are available for many e-books.
