Constitution Week (9/17 - 9/23) was created to celebrate the signing of the United States Constitution, which took place on September 17, 1787. The celebration was petitioned by the Daughters of the American Revolution and became a national holiday in 1956. Along with Constitution Week comes Bisexual Awareness Week! Bisexual Awareness Week (9/16 - 9/23) was founded in 2015 by the organizations GLAAD, the Bisexual Resource Center, and Still Bisexual. Bisexual+ Awareness Week seeks to accelerate the acceptance of the bi+ (bisexual, pansexual, fluid, no label, queer, etc.) community.
