This Halloween, sink your teeth into these hauntingly good titles available right here at JCKL:

Featured Horror Books

  • How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix – Follow Louise as she travels back to her home town to sell her family home after her parents' death. There, she learns some houses simply don’t want to be sold.

  • Rogue by Mona Awad – A gothic fairy tale about a lonely dress shop clerk whose mother’s unexpected death sends her down a treacherous path. Sometimes described as a “Horror Retelling of Snow White”.

  • Middle of the Night by Riley Sager – A man returns home to face the mystery of his childhood friend’s disappearance, and the ghosts still haunting his old neighborhood

More of an audiobook or eBook reader? You can find these spooky reads on Overdrive! And don’t forget about the library’s expansive movie collection! Located on the third floor AND on Kanopy (found in the library database section on our website).
