ProQuest One Psychology includes a one-stop shop to search multiple resources on various topics for psychological sciences. The arrangement of content corresponds to the manner in which psychology professors and students tackle typical assignments, research inquiries, and methodologies. Content includes:
Counseling transcripts include transcripts of real sessions on various topics that help prepare future practitioners. Similarly, therapy videos include lectures, discussions and footage of actual counseling sessions.
The database also incorporates all of the APA materials that the library subscribes to, such as PsycInfo, PsycTests, PsycArticles, and PsycTherapy. When you are searching the database, APA results are clearly marked in search results and will be incorporated into topic pages as well.
As you can see in the image below, the interface is more interactive with visual components. If you search in the "basic search" you will see how content is separated by various topics. The advanced search provides options to search by content, population, methodology, and more. Additionally, the database includes archival items such as books, notes and videos of influential historical experiments, for instance, the Stanford Prison Experiment.
