OverDrive/Libby

by Janette Klein on 2024-04-25T00:00:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

OverDrive is the primary source of popular ebooks and digital audio books at the James C. Kirkpatrick Library. OverDrive currently has nearly 1500 ebooks and over 200 audio books with more added all the time. A new batch of titles for the summer will be added soon.

OverDrive ebooks can be downloaded to the Kindle or the Kindle app. They can also be downloaded in Libby. The Libby app will allow you to read ebooks and play audiobooks on your mobile device without having to access the library website.

The collection currently has large numbers of books by Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Sarah J. Maas, and a growing collection of favorite books of the Get the Read Out student book club. Over 600 biographies and history books are available. There are over 150 books on psychology and self improvement and over 100 books on business. There are a growing number of young adult titles and even a few graphic novels.

Can’t find what you want? Make a request for purchases by emailing the request to akaiser@ucmo.edu.
