O’Reilly for Higher Education is a digital platform that includes eBooks, audiobooks, videos, case studies, interactive tutorials, and proven learning paths. Subjects include IT networking, programming, business strategy, project management, and more. The content contains practice exercises, training videos, code snippets, and certification preparation resources. Additionally, users get access to exclusive O’Reilly content and resources from more than 200 of the world’s best publishers.
O´Reilly for Higher Education contains books in IT and business from publishers like Adobe, Cisco, McGraw-Hill, Microsoft, O´Reilly, Pearson, and Wiley. E-books are accessed through the platform, and users can customize their reading experience. Each book includes a time estimate information for completion and the table of contents can be used to put the whole book or book chapters in a playlist. Users can copy text and add highlights and notes (see the image below). Each book has a menu feature where you can search inside a particular book, change font size and color, and choose the reader width. If you prefer to read in print, use the browser printing features or copy and paste into an external document and print from there.
O’Reilly also offers a selection of courses that are relevant to the needs of those in computer science. Further, O’Reilly includes expert playlists with handpicked content from industry leaders.
