Social Explorer provides easy access to demographic information about the United States. With data maps going back to 1790 students and researchers can explore hundreds of thousands of data indicators across demography, economy, health, education, religion, crime and more. Engage with maps, reports, and data downloads. The Social Explorer data library includes almost all of U.S. Census data from present to 1790 facilitating investigation into demographic information at the national, state, county, ZIP code, and neighborhood levels, with some data available at 120 geographic levels of granularity.

Specialized U.S. data resources include the County Business Patterns, U.S. Business Patterns, Population Estimates, FBI Uniform Crime Report, American election results, Religious Congregations and Membership Study, and County Health Rankings and Roadmaps Program data.

International data resources include the United Kingdom Census, Canadian Census, Eurostat, World Development Indicators, and Irish religion and population data.

Social Explorer can be accessed through the Browse Database feature on the JCKL homepage at library.ucmo.edu.
