Help Yourself Campaign @ UCM Library

This initiative strives to connect UCM students with library resources on topics that may be difficult and stressful for individuals to learn about or discuss openly due to contextual factors in their lives.

Find Books to Read

Recreational reading

Browsing the library shelves can be intimidating if you don't know where to look to find what you enjoy reading. The 3rd Floor of the library is organized in the Library of Congress (LC) classification system, starting with 'A' to the right of the entrance and circling the floor counterclockwise to 'Z'. There are 4 alcoves, separated from the main shelves, where Children and Young Adult materials as well as Curriculum books for educators, are classified in different systems. To locate books with these subjects and call numbers James C. Kirkpatrick Library in the 3rd Floor Stacks or in our Online Resources.

To start, simply search for one title or topic in the main library catalog search and select any book from the list. Scroll down to view the Syndetics tools for that title. You may need to exit out of the catalog result to see Syndetics.
