Download the Handshake app, create and update your Handshake profile to get personalized job recommendations, upload your resume, register and view upcoming career fairs, connect with employers to learn about company culture and their open roles, and finally apply to opportunities!
The Walk-In Studio Experience is offered Monday - Thursday, 12:30 - 4:30pm, Friday 10 a.m-Noon. Stop by to visit with our WISE Coaches for help with life design, job and internship search, applications (resumes, cover letters, etc, interviews, explore career options and more! Drop in as often as you'd like, and stay for as long as you can!
The Professional Clothing Studio gives students the opportunity to select professional and business casual clothing appropriate for job fairs, interviews, internships/practicums, networking, and class presentations. This is a FREE service to all UCM students! It is open Monday - Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters while classes are in session.
Located on the first floor of the JCK Library, the Learning Commons is a comfortable and collaborative student workspace. You can study on your own or meet with a tutor.
The UCM Tutoring Center provides FREE tutoring for over 100 courses by appointment. In-person and online appointments with our UCM student tutors can be scheduled using our new app, Penji. Math tutoring, subject specific tutoring, and study skills tutoring are available. Schedule a tutoring appointment by using the scheduling app, Penji.
Need help with a paper for class? Not sure where to begin? Start by coming into the UCM Writing Center. It’s free and available to all UCM students at any stage of the writing process. Walk in visits are always welcome, but appointments are encouraged--especially near midterms and finals.
