COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Information

Get Vaccinated

The best way to ensure your personal safety with regard to COVID-19 is to obtain a full course of vaccination. Vaccinations have been found to drastically reduce the chance of experiencing severe impacts from COVID-19 and minimize transmission of the disease. As of April 9, all Missourians are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This includes all UCM students, regardless of where they may live or whether or not they are taking in-person or online courses.

Testing

Rapid COVID Testing is free for students at the University Health Center (UHC). Because COVID can present like a mild cold or allergies, everybody is encouraged to get tested if they have any mild respiratory symptoms.

COVID rapid testing is available for students who are not having symptoms or who have not been exposed to a positive COVID case every afternoon at 2:00 pm. Students can schedule these tests through their patient portal. Access to the portal is available through ucmo.medicatconnect.com. Click on the APPTS tab to schedule testing at the UHC.

Students who have symptoms are asked to stay home and fill out the COVID Communication Form.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of these opportunities, whether it’s getting vaccinated or tested to determine if you may have the virus. We believe that by working together, we can all make a difference in helping to prevent the spread of the pandemic.

Multiple agencies and businesses are offering vaccination opportunities. The following sites may help you locate a vaccination opportunity that meets your needs.
