Narrowing Your Search
Your assignment gives specific parameters regarding the sources you are to use.
- Must use peer reviewed journals
- Not more than 5 years old
- Need the APA citation
You can design you search to eliminate material that you cannot use such only searching for peer-reviewed articles and limiting publishing dates (this is true in library databases and can be done on the internet). Most library web pages (including ours) will have these items that you can adjust on the left side of the page.
By narrowing your search at the beginning, you can save yourself a lot of time sorting through material you can't use.
