A to Z World Business is a wide-ranging reference source for international business and trade information. For the business student, A to Z provides background information on international trade, including guides on importing and exporting, international finance, international law and contracts, supply chains, and e-commerce. Packing and shipping guides for multiple types of transportation are also included. Business students can also take advantage of the international business plan module, which includes sample plans for software, manufacturing, and goods and services companies. A reference center provides the text of major international trade agreements, images of different currencies, and twelve short courses on international business subjects.

A to Z can also be of use to the world traveler. Profiles for one hundred and forty different countries provide users with information about the country’s customs, and currency, as well as practical information detailing communication systems and what type of electric plugs are used in the region. A basic language guide provides a video dictionary for 30 languages.

Country guides also provide a basic reference source on the profiled countries. Users can learn about the country’s geography and climate and consult various maps that display information on the political boundaries, precipitation, and transportation infrastructure. Demographic and quality of life information is also provided, sometimes at the city level. For the business researcher, there is information on the business and legal climate of the county.
