Making & Managing a Request

To make an interlibrary loan request, click on “Create Request” button.

The default request form is for a journal article/book chapter request. If you need to request an entire book, multimedia (DVD, CD, etc.) or music score, click on the book/media/score link and the form elements will change.

Fill in the information that describes the item you are requesting.  Fields with asterisks (*) are required for successful submission of the form. Once completed, click on the “Submit Request” button at the bottom of the page.

Requests will now show up on the home page of your account. From there, you can track the status of your request. You will receive an email when your electronic or physical item arrives.

To manage your requests, you do so from the Interlibrary Loan Requests section of your account.  There you can view:

  • Pending requests
  • Articles/book chapters (PDF)
  • Physical item due dates
  • Canceled and completed requests
  • Notifications
