This LibGuide has tips on being successful in college as well as links to local and other resources designed to foster college success.

James C. Kirkpatrick Library personnel are eager to help you with your information needs. Visit the library home page for helpful information and links to our resources and services. The library has a wide variety of space available to users, including study rooms and other meeting rooms.

The Harmon Computer Commons on the first floor has more than 90 PC and Mac workstations, and an additional 100 computers are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors to users who have a valid UCM network login.

The Learning Commons, located on the 3rd floor of the library, is a collaborative learning environment. Designed to provide the academic supports students need, the Learning Commons offers a place to study and access to tutors for more than 50 classes.  Students can also take advantage of supplemental instruction sessions, individual writing assistance, access to peer mentors, and test preparation support.  

And don't forget to check out Einstein Bros Bagels on the first floor! 

About the Library
