Research Instruction sessions are conducted by JCKL librarians at the request of a faculty member. Sessions help students learn how to more effectively use library resources in studying, conducting research, and writing a paper.
A session works well when presented in conjunction with a specific assignment so that the librarian can focus the instruction on relevant materials. Librarians are also available to work one-on-one or in small groups.
Faculty can determine which librarian is their subject specialist from the library's Find Your Subject Specialist list.
