The Reserves area is a closed stack located behind the Circulation/Reserves desk. Library staff will retrieve materials for patron check-out.
JCK Library provides a Course Reserves service to support instructional programs at UCM. Faculty may place high demand class related materials (pamphlets, books, tests, video, etc.) on reserve for restricted loan periods.
Length of the loan period is at the discretion of the instructor. The options are:
Search for course reserves in the Quest catalog under the COURSE RESERVES tab by either the instructor's name or the course number. Bring the call number of the item you need to the circulation desk for retrieval.
eReserves (reserves that link to journal articles or other online material) are not available in the Quest Course Reserve page. You will find them conveniently located in your course Blackboard page using the JCKL eReserves link.
Requests for placing materials on course reserves (either physical reserves or eReserves for Blackboard) may be made by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), by phone (campus extension 4283), or in person at the JCKL Circulation/Reserves Desk.
